Install Your Tracking Pixel
Your SegMetrics account uses a unique tracking pixel that allows you to track leads through your entire funnel.
Get Your Tracking Pixel
- Navigate to your Site Setup page at https://app.segmetrics.io/a/settings/snippet
- Copy the pixel code provided
- Install the code on every page of your website, even if it doesn’t have an opt in, placing it right before the closing

Important: If your opt-ins are hosted by a different software than your webpage, it could be an iframe. In this case, you need to put our pixel on the form/opt-in in addition to having it on the website. This is the biggest “gotcha” we see with account setups.
Alternative Installation Methods
You can also install the pixel using:

- Other script management tools
Pro Tip: If you’re already using Google Tag Manager across your site, install your SegMetrics pixel through GTM. This automatically tracks every page that’s already using GTM.
Please Note: GTM tracking has shown to be blocked at a higher rate than putting our pixel directly on your page.
Multi-Domain and Third-Party Tracking
For comprehensive tracking across multiple domains and third-party tools:
- Install pixel in third-party tools: Add your pixel to order forms, landing pages, and shopping carts from services like Keap and SamCart
- Add all domains: Include all root domains you want to track (including third-party hosted domains) in your Site Setup area. Watch our multi-domain tracking video
- Connect integrations: Visit your Integrations page to connect with your marketing tools
